Safety Rules in the Science Laboratory
- Should always work quietly and carefully and not indulge in practical jokes and other acts of carelessness.
- Should report to the teacher any damaged equipment, bottles or containers.
- Should keep the table tidy during the experiment.
- Should wash hands neatly after all practical classes.
- Should not take chemicals from unlabelled containers & should report about such containers to the teacher.
- Should not try unauthorised experiments.
- A student should not enter or work in the laboratory unless a teacher is present.
- Should not take apparatus or chemicals out of the laboratory without the permission of the teacher.
- Should clean the table after the practical.
